  1. I don’t take supplements. I had a lot of cramps. A colleague recommended taking magnesium. I began with one capsule per day. I swear I got rid of my cramps, my head got clearer and I didn’t feel like a dump after consuming food with sugar.

  2. She didn’t go over how much we need in a day! How much is too much? She didn’t explain! Btw we need alot! Up to 300mg a day! Not all gets absorbed and extra is expelled from urine!

  3. Most of us are deficient on magnesium, Our soil is overfarmed and foods don’t contain as much magnesium anymore. Also if you sweat too much in the summer or drink rio much water you can lose electrolytes, things like Gatorade replaces most except Magnesium. I’ve been in the hospital a few times with heart rhythm issues years ago and it would even stop and restart, they did all sorts of tests over a weeks Stay including a Holter monitor when I got out and found no reason for it. Yet it was still going on ( I had high stress at the time too) Finally a savy Doctor HINTED to me telling me " some people find help by taking magnesium suppliments" I also discovered that out of all the thorough testing the hospital did and tested elecrolytes evenm they did no tests checking magnesium levels. I started taking magnesium and it stopped the issue. The hospital was talking about a pacemaker or a stint with no reason for it besides the heart rhythm a simple cheap magnesium pill is all it took.

She mentions "unless you’ve been diagnosed with a magnesium deficiency: It’s hard to get diagnosed with that because most doctors will NOT check for it, they are only allowed by the AMA to prescribe Meds . They CAN actually risk their license by suggesting using a supplinent as a treatment instead of a big pharma med. It’s our system. PLEASE Stay vigilant of your own health and do your research. Magnesium like anything else can only hurt you if you really take too much and you ld have to take a lot to do what she said can happen unless you are on some other meds. herbs and supplements can have interactions with drugs just like another drug can si always research that before taking. I also noticed later that when I eat a high sodium meal I get rhythm issues a few hours later, and just feel awful but I break open a magnesium capsule when it happens and shake the powder out on or under my tongue and drink some water, and just a few minutes later My heart is back to normal and I also feel much better. so mow I just take one after high sodium meals. I swear by it!

  4. You can’t build up too much magnesium because the body can’t store it. Unless you’re eating way too much everyday for it to become toxic, you will just pee it out.

  5. That’s ABC news for you. Terrible information. Most people are deficient in magnesium because you can’t get enough of it from diet alone. The main stream media sucks.

  6. Why is this woman saying that it could be fatal? And we shouldn’t take it unless we’re diagnosed with a magnesium deficiency? That is misguiding people so that they can stay sick and going to their doctors for medication! Big Pharma is all about their money.

  7. There is NO accurate BLOOD TEST for Low Magnesium unless you happen to be severely low from maybe recent Diarrhea/vomiting and your Body hasn’t had a chance to pull Magnesium from your Bones, muscles, Nerves etc. It will PULL from stores to REPLENISH your Blood level.. SMH … if u are Vit D Deficient then u are most likely Mag Deficient.. it took MANY yrs to catch mine low at the ER… and I have OSTEOPOROSIS and Really bad nerves n Anxiety.. yeah it will pull from stored Mag in your body to keep levels up.. Don’t count on some Dummy TEST.

  8. Completely useless advice. "Just get it from your food …" Oh right … thx lol 🙂 I should have thought of that …. just get it from my food … ok, which food? You know, "your food" … you’ll figure it out by watching other videos 🙂

  9. The problem from getting it only from your food..is it takes a lot of food at the amount of magnesium in raw uncooked food..even in the most popular it’s not much and processed it’s even lower..I take 50% of rda with magnesium glycinate..no stomach issues..take it with lunch and I sleep better food might be best ..but many just won’t be able to eat enough..we used to get plenty of magnesium in our water supply and that is no longer the case.

  10. I have it in my multivitamin and I also take another pill before bed. I aim for 300-360 mg a day.
This woman didn’t even explain the different types of magnesium or the benefits. It can help support sleep, cramping, muscle cramps, lower blood sugar and blood pressure, reduce stress and help with mental health such as anxiety and depression. I take one pill of Life Extension Neuro-mag Magnesium L-threonate from Amazon at night in addition to what’s in my multivitamin.

  11. 98% of rhe population is Magnesium Deficient.450MG Of Magnesium Citrate. I feel this question wasn’t answered properly. Its had to know via food your idea recommended daily allowance. A question that was asked was " How do you know your Deficient" let me tell you how your know. MUSCLE CRAMPS IN LEGS ALSO INCLUDING MENSTRUAL CRAMPS, PMS, PMT, STRESS (Its a calming mineral) , SUGAR CRAVINGS, HEADACHES, MIGRAINES, HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, IRRIGULAR HEAT BEAT, COSTIPATION, SLEEP DEPRAVED PEOPLE (Take at night). I think I covered most. Also if you smoke or take caffeine of any description take the supplement and all supplements after the last cigarette or coffee/caffeine drink. Why- because your killing the nutrients they won’t work for you 🤔 I hope this helps. I don’t sell the supplement I’m a Nutritional Skin specialist. The Skin Expert Hq on Instagram OR Saffron Rouge Aesthetics you will find me for help. – Sharon Noonan Ray

  13. So if we do choose to take a magnesium supplement what dose is safe to take? I take 200 jell capsule every other day because it helps me sleep and regular. Magnesium Citrate is what I use. I have a feeling because you are a nutritionist you’re going to say “get it from food” but let’s be honest and real people are gonna take a pill. Thanks Doc

  14. This doctor is completely useless, there are several tyes of magnesium and she never explained ANY of them and what they would help, utterly pointless having her speak fir all of 30 seconds about the ADVERTISED headline 🙄

  15. Typical corporate medical hack who doesn’t say anything of substance. They are afraid of the American public of being healthy without making billions of from it.

  16. Typical Doc is off. Most of us don’t get it from our foods. And the risk are if your overdosing!
