  1. What are your feeling on vitamins with methadone to help address adhd and other similar behaviors?

  2. just as mentioned here, calcium and magnesium are the only vitamins/minerals that are below 100 percent on the label of my multivitamins, however, the RDA for many vitamins are very low and especially for water soluble vitamins, it’s just my opinion but I see no harm in taking them more than once a day, even when the label says 1 a day. About a year ago I had indents on my fingernails and increased a 1 a day multivitamin to 3 a day and in less than a month my fingernails were back to normal. I was already taking other separate vitamins and minerals I knew a deficiency of could have caused me problems

  3. Really interesting video, just paid quite a lot of money to see a Nutritionist and echo’s a lot of what you said, one thing she did say I don’t think you covered was about how different vitamins are absorbed in the body differently and to avoid certain ones which are wasted, she suggested brand multi-vitamins and a separate Magnesium supplement which I’ve just started taking today so no idea if they’ll be any good or not. She did however recommend I start protein shakes, MyProtein was actually one of the brands but I’ve always found they taste bad but might give them a try again in the future.

  4. I have a lot of health problems but not deficient in anything
However I do feel tired and weak all the time
    Should I take a multivitamin?

  5. "Nutritionist" is not a legally protected term in the UK. Anyone can call themselves a nutritionist. The protected term is dietitian. So be VERY wary when a company who makes money selling supplements posts a video of a "nutritionist" telling you what to buy.

  6. If you are the one in ten million people who get enough of everything in your diet then you don’t need supplements. But if you take supplements it probably won’t harm you. And don’t forget to check your level of molybdenum (however you do that).

  7. As a Vegan, I’m often told I’m deficient in personality, humour and joy, what supplements can I use for this?

  8. I feel tired and week. I have a muscle weakness. Do you think I have lack of nutrients? What your recommend me doing and my left side bones joints pain. I even have some times headaches.

  9. It’s 2024. The food industry especially meat, seems to be more poisonous how they chemically process meat after the animal is butchered just to eliminate all the parasites. No Multivitamins are not nearly as bad as processed food!!!

  10. Don’t trust myprotein company, it 2 months and I didn’t receive my protein yet, they stolen 200 usd from me

  11. Planet Ayurveda’s Multivitamin Pack is amazing! My immune system feels stronger than ever."

  12. This is just a guess, but I have a hard time believing that most people are taking in the proper amount of all vitamins from their diets alone.

  13. So the video in a Nutshell… if you don’t need vitamins don’t take vitamins. If you do need vitamins take vitamins. If you just need one vitamin, take just that vitamin. Thanks for the "evidence based" advice.

  14. Me who does not eat red meat and dairy ( lactose intolerant) feels much better after starting to take multivitamins !

  15. The biggest issue I have with most opinions I’ve seen in this subject is the lack of proving the validity of the opinions, and that’s in both sides of the argument

    1. How have you determined your opinion?

Did you know there are two types of blood tests to determine nutrient levels in the body? 1. Blood volume & 2. Cellular utilization

Which method did the research you read to develop your opining utilize?

Which also questions, what other methodologies were used in the studies you read that have an influence on the outcome results?

Back in 2011 & 12 I worked with a company that did micronutrient blood tests on companies as part of a wellness program. Tested 120 blue color workers at a factory. We found over 90% had severe deficiencies in 6 or more areas, commonly vitamin D, C & B, but the remaining 3 – 4 varied greatly

That was just with a blood volume test. We then utilize a cellular absorption test and found those deficiencies and more.

Pretty powerful study indicating that the average American either doesn’t eat a healthy, well-balanced diet or can’t.

Afterwards, these individuals began a supplement regimen of a daily, high-quality multivitamin. A follow-up evaluation was done at
    6mn, 12m, 18m & 24m. At 6m: 90% of the deficiencies were resolved, at 12m: 99.9 & at 18m+: maintained.

Plus, the anecdotal testimonies of weight loss, improved energy, decreased work related accidents, etc… were amazing!

Just staving off deficiencies is too low a bar. Optimal wellness is a much better goal for our health.

  16. I’m not getting on a fitness routine until I’m off of the ramen only plan. Not likely to happen until I’m working again.

  17. I will turn 69 in March male white still in really good shape have never taken vitamins in my life and I really don’t eat that good the last 30 years. I’ve just ate out of fast food joints because I travel a lot for work being a heavy equipment mechanic absolutely haven’t taken any vitamins thinking about doing it now though just because.

  18. Nice video.Vikramprash for planet Ayuveda it helps in enhancing the dhatu poshan that is nourishment of all the bodily tissues.

  19. @Richie Kirwan: I have a question. I’m a vegetarian. I do not eat egg, poultry, meat or seafood. Can I take multivitamin tablets everyday? Or should I take it every other day if I want to continue for years? Thanks.

  20. Just couldn’t figure out why I have been so itchy for months though ot was a allergy to a food, just watched a few videos that most people do not need synthetic vitamins, I was am am using B6 and B12 well just learn that these vitamins including a multi vitamin. There is so much mis information out there.

I am a believer that B6 is the cause.. maybe over doing it even though its just one or two a day.

Going to stop all vitamins for a month we will see if this itch allergy goes away. Thought it was and allergy to foods or a kidney issue.

Vitamins need yo be properly controlled to many people online are recommending vitamins and while its true some people might need them, most people don’t.

So if you’re experiencing any real health issues it could be the vitamins your using.

Just watched a video of a doctor that was over taking B6 and the symptoms she was getting. She stopped and they went away.

Vitamins could be damaging you organs liver, pancreas, kidneys..

  21. Have you seen a cow putting women pregnant to milk them and feed their calf? I didn’t nor the million cows raised by the milk industry do.

However those millions cows have seen a specy who is not like them with complete different nutrients needs and complete different DNA making them pregnant to milk them and kill their babies to make food.

Have you seen a bonobo monkey or any monkeys drinking milk from another specy? No. Have you seen any monkey drinking milk after being weaned? No. Same for other animals. Because after being weaned the hormone to digest milk is not produced by their body anymore so it is in human bodies.

Calcium is used by cells to kill themselves and the calcium from cow milk and other animal milk is useless while producing osteoporosis that is weak bones. But the milk industry wants to make money so it sells millions liters of milk and tons of dairy which produce lots of health issues which sells lots of pills and "medicines" which make BIG PHARMA rich.

So instead of following crowds just think critically and follow a diet which is physiologically compatible with your body: humans are mostly herbs and nuts eating creature due to their teeth organisation and stomach structure. Look for example of results on health from markus rothkranz and other old age raw foodist

  22. I don’t take vitamins and that can cause an iodine deficiency as i don’t eat much processed food or meat and I don’t add iodized table salt… until recently. I typically use a sea salt or Himalayan salt but I’ve started using some common iodized salt back in so i have a simple source of iodine. I cannot have dairy. I cannot have gluten. I’m not going to eat organ meat like liver. Seafood…good sources of seafood like cod are kind of a no no for me right now or face the consequences for a long time.. that pretty well leaves seaweed, vitamins, and table salt. I did take a vitamin the other day for the zinc and selenium because I felt like I was coming down with a cold but I got past that with oregano oil extract, sources of sulphur, zn gluconate, caffeine free herbal teas, and extra sleep. So I’m back to not taking a multivitamin.

  23. Planet Ayurveda’s Daily Essentials Capsules have helped me feel more focused and energized throughout the day. No crashes or jitters, just consistent energy

  24. If you eat a lot of whole foods…not processed food…a lot of vegetables and fruit and some great sources of meat you probably don’t need a multivitamin. But I wouldn’t do a cheap brand like centrum or the like everyday for any reason at all because they probably do more harm than good. But there’s also some more expensive multis that probably do more harm than good. But there absolutely are reasons people need to take a multivitamin. If you have celiac, if you have intestinal permeability, if you have Crohn’s, if a doctor suggests it for a wide range of illnesses or issues with the diet. There’s no blanket statement advice that works for everyone and unfortunately that’s what you get on TV and uninformed or forgetful nutritionists, doctors, and those speaking for them.

  25. i was getting bruise on my fingers from heavy computer usage from the scroll wheel and clicking, but after taking a couple multivitamins it completely went away after months of having the issue. I mostly eat pizza and chocolate.
