After going carnivore, my arthritis was eliminated in three weeks and as an added bonus I no longer have high blood pressure. Think about that: only three weeks for me! Doctor told me I was getting old and slow my routine and accept it: he was also a specialist joint replacement surgeon.
great advice and research, I will not eat a carnivore diet, just can’t so not sure what else to do, will definitely ditch the bread, gluten though, and all refined sugar
Hey Mike Mutzel! You are a (sic) MORE ON! You want somebody like me with SEVERE BONE ON BONE osteo to walk 10,000 steps daily when i’m in PAIN PAIN PAIN walking just ‘one’ step!!! (P.S. find another line of work!)
Arthritis in my hands. It started almost a yr ago. Thumb pain at the base of my thumb. I’m an autoworker so I chalked it up to wear and tear. I do eat alpt of fruit and alot of meat. So.maybe less fruit. Ty
There is much wear and tear on the hands, due to typing!!

Nothing new. It’s been said thousands of times.
What about those of normal weight? What about those with RA? What about genetics??
Omg that beard lol whatโs up with all the guys wearing beards now lolo๐๐
What a no out those like my self who have chronic osteoarthritis arthritis of the large joints knees hips who are petite 62 years old 115 pounds. I have bone on bone wear and tear osteoarthritis arthritis of the right knee and will need high tibial osteitomy in the summer of 2025. I am a dance teacher raised 5 children and worked in healthcare for 25 years. We are not all overweight people but that is always the example. Very interesting facts and happy to know the tides are changing on how we view inflammation and joint pain. Get strong folks.
Whatโs good to know, is what that cartilage is made of, and how yo get the body to rebuild it
Be careful, exercise can also make you worse. Search for the guy who talks about strenghtening gluts and walking with feet slightly turned out. If your quads are more developed than your gluts, the wrong exercise–including walking–can make you worse. I’ve tried it and it’s true for me.
My fingers were starting to lock up when I worked. 15 months ketovore, no more locking and no more inflammation or pain in the finger joints. Also lost all my fat (minor visceral left to go), after working out or unloading a truck I am only sore for 1-2 days max, used to be 3-5 days of muscle fatigue and soreness. Got pretty ripped/shredded, guess all the muscles from my youth weren’t gone just hiding. No more brain fog, and reversed type 2 to pre-diabetic (have not tested again in the last 8 months). Neuropathy is gone (did a benfotiamine protocol to get rid of the pain), still some numbness left, taking nerve repair vitamins from the Nerve Doctors protocol on youtube. Turning 56 this month and never felt so good, done with sugar and carbs and processed foods/seed oils.
This didnt work for me. But what did help is putting out all processed foods. No seed oils or anything. Just meat fruits and veggies.
Love animals โค wont rat them plant based keto with a few gree rsnge eggs no sugery foods or drinks low carbs lots of cauliflower dark greens lentils in pressure cooker helps. Yes keep ondulin levels low love life feel lots of joy โค
But i am skinny๐ข๐ข๐ข๐ข๐ข๐ข๐ข
If your joints are all hurting especially if your wrists hurt, have your primary care Physician give you a blood test for Rheumatoid Arthritis. Im 57 & a carpenter, Im always sore. I complained of joint pain all over. Blood test showed positive for Rheumatoid arthritis. Its no joke – your immune system attack your joints & medications for it are powerful stuff & you have RA for life. I just found this out today. In the past b4 I developed this though I found that when my diet was very disciplined – (rarely red meat, no bread crackers chips pasta bagels or sweets) Imy pants got baggy & I was pain free. But pls get checked for RA – simple blood test.
Dr Gundry’s BioComplete3, which helps heal leaky gut syndrome, which is where arthritis begins, in my humble opinon.
Are you kidding me? $190.00 for a pair of shoes? Absolutely not!!! I go barefoot in my home and on my lawn in summertime every day, but I will NOT SPEND $200 on a pair of shoes that I should not be wearing in the first place. I do a LOT of exercise every day and I’m on a keto diet, which helped me to lose 80 pounds the first year (I’ve been on the keto diet since BEFORE it began being used as a weight-loss diet). I also use earthing pads after studied the science and finding out that the principle behind earthing is not a gimmick but science.
I am so glad for all the people who found relief. I am 70 active all my life. Pe teacher and coach. I Walk 4-5 miles daily. Hike once a week 5+ miles. Exercise 3 times a week with light weights eat clean for 10 years, IT fasting. Keto. No sugar, no alcohol almost no carbs about 6 years. I suffer from Shoulder and back pain for lat 6 month, and now in my hands. It is impossible to enjoy a painfree day or night and just got diagnosed with arthritis . Now what I am 5.4 and weigh 106 lbs pretty much all my life. Which some one would address issues for those that are NOT overweight.
Yes!!! I was diagnosed with fibroyalgia joint pain, I was obese. I lost weight start lifting taking vitamin d. Pain gone!
Ok
Letโs say I have to go carnivore or carb free diet.
How can I get my energy for workout?
Fat doesnโt work to me I tried.
If I go carb free then my energy disappears in 2 days..
Nope
Im glad you are talking about overweight. When a health person talks about weight, people and the media feel your Fat Shaming! NO!
It’s about health diabetes, cancer, and heart disease. A lot of doctors won’t tell their patients that they are overweight because they are afraid of losing them as a patient.
They would rather drug them up. It’s all about health viewers. ๐
Its by walking 10k steps that I developed joint pain
All you need to do is work out and eat clean, no prob with grains if you eat small amount, no prob with sugar if it comes from fruits in moderate amount. No diet will save you if you don’t work out, no miracle drug. Diet should come from wide range of foods, no need to fear of carbs. Its all about common sense, moderation and avoiding processed foods (there are exceptions) and no, diary is not bad for you if you’re not allergic. Keep in mind that there’s a huge industry behind some strict diets such as vegan, carnivore etc, don’t feed these industries, also many "influencers" make a lot of money by keeping you hooked to their channels. Remember the fasting trend from few years ago? and all those influencers who could not stop publish vids about it? most of them no longer do that, now they promote high protein diets. Stop wasting time on these channels, it’s a waste of time, tons of info, articles, news, podcasts, studies…at the end of the day those who workout and eat protein carbs and fats are the healthiest.
25vyears on low carb diet, running, walking, kick boxing and still has osteoarthritis ๐ฅฒ
Wish I could. I havd alpha-gal syndrome, so meat causes extreme inflammation for me rather than curing it.
I have some arthritis. Recent lab tests showed my pH to be 6. 7 or slightly more is ideal. I’m using 1/2 tsp of baking soda twice a day to raise pH. My joints are getting better. I use pH strips to check my urine. 1/2 tsp at breakfast and 1/4 tsp at dinner may be the right amount for me. I’ve also seen a general increase in energy level and fewer problems with reflux.
The best shoes are no shoes ๐ฃ
Mike, I am afraid to say that the comments here are more useful than the video itself (although triggered by it, of course!). I have a lot of joint pain as of late which started after I hit menopause. I used to exercise every day, I am not overweight and eat a paleo diet and yet none of it prevented the issues I haveโand I have had to exercise less because of it because exercise triggers a LOT of pain. I will try lowering carbs and see if that makes a difference although my diet is quite restrictive already (I guess next step is carnivore), but suspect hormones are issue #1 for me. I agree with you that for the vast majority of people the recommendations you make are spot on, but I suspect they are not the ones watching the channel….
From a 64-year old with excellent metabolic markers – not necessarily.
With that beard you are beginning to look like you are about to be shipped off to mullah land bro…lol.๐๐
I think arthritis has done so much damage that Iโm not sure Iโll ever be pain free. I am absolutely better but at this rate I have another year or two to go after this year already.
Endless babble telling you what everybody already knows – being overweight makes joint pain and arthritis worse. Eat less, eat less often, eat smarter, exercise. Really?
Yes you r correct sour kraut from jar is your new food flavoring
๐๐๐๐๐๐๐
Good job ๐
Zinc !!!!!! 14 mg a day!!!!
Keep in mind most people over 60 cannot tolerate minimalist shoes.
so the knee tissues are breaking down from wear and tear and the body is not getting enough nutrients to heal, as you get older your stomach doesnt absorb as much nutrients perhaps? to much junk food? protein is your rebuild supply or material? stop drinking and smoking will help ou eat more and absorb more nutrition.
who is this amish guy
I have severe osteoarthritis and I’ve been to two orthopedic docs … YOU are a M O R O N … and it only took me 60 seconds of watching to learn that!
Another Low Carb schizo ๐ idiot!
I went whole food plant based and the pain in my hands diminished to about 5%! Also niggles in ankles and knees gone too ! And big increase of energy . I ate clean . No processed food and was eating Mediterranean. That made no difference .
To all those raving about the carnivore diet. It is BULLSHT. 10 months into it and still have CHRONIC pain (both my husband and I) and Arthritis still flares up. The only benefit was the weight loss, now maintaining it and a reduction in food costs. We agreed to a year then we will start introducing things again. DIET has nothing to do with arthritis. My great, great grandmother had it, so stop trying to sell your garbage info.
We had to change our diets when we found out that my husband is allergic to wheat, soy, sesame, and peanut. I prep everything from the source ingredients. And it only took a few months and we are off our meds and constantly getting new clothes because the weight just keeps coming off.
